Have you met Miss Jones?
I'm going for a Miss Jones spree tonight. Considering Bridget Jones II premièred on Friday in Madrid, i fancy indulging myself by watching the first part on telly in a while. Girl's night in. Standard girlie stuff, for once.

When i read the book i thought it was shite. I mean, i liked the general idea of the journal, and i can't say the frivolousness didn't help lighten up the reading, but in general, i believed it was utter crap and had slight problems finishing it.

Now, the film was something else. Expecting pretty much the same reaction i got from the book, Ms. Zellweger managed to have me roaring with laughter for over an hour. Great acting, dazzling accent, funny lines.

This said, i'm aware i shouldn't get my hopes too high on the sequel, but that won't keep me from the nearest cinema some time this week. Until then, please allow me to make myself a comfy place in the couch and appreciate this re-run.
